About us
ESA’s five-year report, pages 4–5, records Craig’s invitation to Martin and Carlien. Personal stories and coaching background also draw on ESA, Make Them Sailors and Martin’s published biographies. Craig’s sailing photograph is from his April 2024 Fivepointfive feature, page 54, © Robert Deaves.
Our timeline and why it matters
Our early-season reports, the December 2022 edition and the 2023–2024 report document school sailing, national-team training and travel. The 2023–2024 report, pages 14–17, records the 2023 international results; pages 8–11 cover Sugar Loaf’s 2024 regatta. The five-year report covers school programmes on pages 12–15, camps on page 19, Pleon on pages 20–22, racing on pages 24–26 and the 2024–2025 participation snapshot on page 33.
ESA’s 10 September 2026 newsletter records summer camps, instructor training and the second Pleon exchange. Contemporary ESA correspondence records The Heights School’s March 2026 visit. ESA’s November 2026 updates establish the early-season chronology and current plans.

The original Strategic Plan 2026–2030 provides the four-part framework for programme growth. Programme descriptions incorporate ESA’s November 2026 updates. South Eleuthera (at CEIS)’s school and Avelinda activities are documented in the 2024–2025 report, pages 12–14 and 19; Wellington Prep appears on page 15.
Its figures remain distinguished from later implementation updates.
