FUNDING THE PLAN
Centres & facilities
Our main priority is a permanent home for ESA in Savannah Sound. We need Crown land or privately secured land where we can build a lasting sailing school, avoid ongoing rent and protect access for future generations.
01 · OUR MAIN CENTRE
ESA · Savannah Sound

WHAT WE NEED
Secure land. Build a school that lasts.
We are seeking either an approved Crown land lease or private land secured for ESA’s long-term use. Our goal is to build on a site where the school can stay, rather than spend programme income on rent.
The main base needs teaching space, boat storage, a maintenance workshop and safe access to the water. It will also support instructor courses, shared fleet care and visiting training groups.
Help secure the site and fund the build
We are seeking landowners, government and development partners who can help secure a site and fund teaching space, storage, a workshop and water access. The site must give ESA long-term security and protect community use.

North Eleuthera
We see strong potential for a programme based close to northern schools and families. We want a suitable local base where children can learn regularly, supported by local partners and collaboration with Harbour Island Sailing School.
The North base will provide teaching space, boat storage and access to the water.

South Eleuthera (at CEIS)
The South Eleuthera (at CEIS) programme with CEIS / The Island School gives us a base for serving children in the South. We plan a compact sailing centre with storage and preparation space for the sailing and watersports programme.
The centre will support teaching, boat storage and equipment preparation, building on the fleet already available.

With dependable transport, these three locations are enough for the next stage. Children can learn closer to home and join shared activities at ESA, while coaches and equipment move between programmes.
