North Eleuthera

North Eleuthera has real potential for a youth sailing programme rooted in its own community. We want more children to discover the water, build confidence and develop skills close to home.

A local opportunity with room to grow

Children from the North have already travelled to ESA to learn to sail. Their enthusiasm has shown us the opportunity to bring sailing closer to their schools and families. Our vision is a programme based in North Eleuthera, shaped with local partners and built to last.

Grow through collaboration

We want to collaborate with Harbour Island Sailing School and build connections with schools, families and community partners across the North. Working together can widen access and give young people more opportunities to learn and progress.

As participation grows, a North Eleuthera programme can also create pathways into instructor training, paid work and local leadership. It is part of our wider vision: more children sailing, more skills staying in the community and a stronger future for sailing across Eleuthera.
